We are an Occupational Therapy practice based in San Antonio that works alongside various referring parties throughout the state of Texas to offer specialized evaluations and driver training. Our aim is to assist individuals in attaining the skills which will make them feel safe and confident behind the wheel, regardless of their circumstances, and set them up for long-term success in their travels.

•  A Valid Driver’s License or Learner’s Permit

(If your patient is a first-time driver, please have them reach out as we have resources available and can direct them to obtaining a learner’s permit)

•  Patient Demographics/Face Sheet

•  Current List of Medications

•  Physician’s Note for “Driver Evaluation & Training”

Once all pertinent information is received, we will reach out to the patient to schedule an appointment wherein the evaluation to help determine driving ability is conducted. Driver training is specially tailored to the needs of each student, but the goal remains long-term driving success.

 

If adaptive equipment is deemed necessary, we offer training with said equipment. Assistance extends beyond the licensure process for individuals requiring adaptive equipment, as we provide post-licensure training with their personal vehicle.
