Pre-Driver Training [PARENT LED]

Congratulations! If you have landed here we have identified that you are an ideal candidate for driver training. We strive to provide a well-rounded, comprehensive driver training experience. The road to driving independence is on the horizon, and it is our goal to make this journey as seamless as possible. Ever heard the phrase, "It takes a village"? Such is true for our first-time drivers! Student commitment and parent participation are paramount to this process. This first step towards driving is what we like to call the "Pre-Driver Training"--these pre-driving skills are pivotal to the development and advancement of your student's driving knowledge. Students will be expected to complete tasks with Parental/Guardian guidance. What to Expect: • Life Skills Assessments • Goal Setting Session and Evaluation Follow-up with Provider • Driver Seat Orientation • Traffic Signs, Signals, Lanes, and Lines Review • Guided Driving and Active Passenger Exercises Upon completion, students with a valid Learner's Permit may advance to behind-the-wheel training. Ultimately, the goal of this course is to increase roadway and vehicle familiarity as well as situational awareness. This course is tailored to prepare first time drivers for Behind the Wheel Training.
